"Merlin" David Silva's first City goal

The new print captures the first goal David Silva (aka Merlin) scored for Manchester City back in 2010 away at Blackpool in the league.

On a damp October afternoon on the coast he announced his arrival. Replacing Emmanuel Adebayor in the 66th minute, David Silva set up Manchester City’s second goal within a minute of coming on.

His exquisite iconic touch saw him jink past two defenders and curl a shot beyond Blackpool's keeper Matt Gilks. ‘Merlin’ had arrived.

Created by City fan Ron, it is a unique way to celebrate the start of something beautiful with David Silva due to retired this season after 10 years at Manchester City.

The print is A2 (420mm x 594mm) in size onto 300gsm fine art paper and personally signed by the artist. Please note the print is not framed.

This print was created by artist Ron Kirwin and is not official Manchester City merchandise.

    Cracking gift for old man

My old boy was over the moon with this Silva picture for his Father’s Day gift. Arrived quickly and safely in sturdy packaging, and once I’d given it to my Dad he had it framed and straight on the wall with his other City pics! One very happy customer - again - ordering from the Ginger Wig! Cheers
